Throughout this campaign, our country's economic situation continued to worsen.  I am convinced more than ever that we need fiscally responsible, experienced business leaders in Washington to solve our problems.  Alabama is a great state, full of great people who need good representation.  We tried very hard to have that opportunity but it just did not happen.  Perhaps the Lord has other plans for us.     

We did very well and are pleased with our accomplishments.  Much of our effectiveness was a result of a strong staff and wonderful volunteers.  Donna and I appreciate your work toward helping elect a faith based, business leader. We thank each of you and pray that God will continue to bless you and your families.
